Review: We loved it! Paris is expensive and this was an affordable hotel given that it was a 4-star hotel. It is a stone throw away from the subway which was important to us as that was our primary mode of transport. It’s in the 14th arrondissement which is rich with culture and night life. There were restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and etc. right around us.
It’s a pretty safe area and we even went running around the neighborhood.
I would not eat breakfast there because I personally think 19 euros is a lot to pay when you could go to a bakery/patisserie and eat for 5-10 euros
The room was clean and modern but small like you would expect. The hotel staff was amazing and flexible with us.
What We Did?
Review: The area where the hotel was located is great to run in. I just walked out of the hotel, turned right and started running straight till I got tired then turned around and ran back. Saw lots of other runners and was a great way to see the neighborhood.
Review: We viewed the outside of the Eiffel, had lunch on the first floor, and walked up 150 steps from the 1st floor to the second level (this if free once you’re already up for lunch). The views from the 2nd floor are amazing and so worthwhile! We bought glasses of champagne on the 2nd floor—two glasses for 20€
Review: We had a great time exploring the Montmarte neighborhood, viewing Sacre-Coeur, browsing street art and caricature artists, and having dinner and desert in the area
Review: Did our own walking tour from St. Michel to the Eiffel tower. Took about two hours and took place at night time. We saw the Eiffel light show that happens in the evening every hour.
Details: We took the metro from our hotel to St. Michel (Porte d’Orleans station to St. Michel station — Line 4, 11 stops). From St. Michel we ran to the Eiffel tower taking a different route than our previous walking tour. The run took 45 minutes and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend it as a morning run if you’re a runner.
Details: We thought of the arrondissement we wanted to explore, got off a metro station in that area and walked for a bit. Went to another metro station and repeat. 1st, 4th, 5th, and 8th arrondissement are recommended.
Review: They are open till 1 am and they are a recommended late night spot if you’re looking to vibe to cool jazz music. Different musicians perform a set throughout. It has a very cozy and intimate atmosphere
Details:No cover. Drinks are reasonably priced. Open till 5 am. Music mix is hip-hop, pop, and house. This is the go to Paris night club for our group
Details: If you’re a book lover, this is a must visit. Make a pit stop here if you’re by St. Michel & Notre Dame

Review: This is a throwback place for our group from when we lived in Paris. Best Thai food we’ve eaten in Paris.
Price Point: $$$
Review: Expensive but popular Macaroon shop. Go for the macaroons or simply for the ambiance. Tack it on as a stop if you’re visiting Arc de Triomphe or are simply in the Champs Elysees
